Paul Fisher’s musical education began at a tender age via a transistor radio. As a child of the “60′s” with a musical ear’, he absorbed much of the style and influences of the time and prior.

following formal education, he served a performance apprenticeship as singer/guitarist with various Sydney kinds including “The broken Watch band”, “Roy Hawkins and the Coastliners .

In the late 1980′s Paul’s talent and versatility was recognised b4 on appointment with P&O Cruises as Cruise Director onboard the legendary cruise ship ‘Fairstar”. As the ship’s permanent Cruise Director for eight years, he performed thousands of shows fop thousands of passengers, including cabaret, production shows, orchestra vocalist and compere.

With a charted repertoire of over eighty arrangements and greater solo selection including orchestrated backings, he has the capacity to provide musical entertainment suited to most mature venues.

An album “Orange Coloured Sky” showcases his interpretation 0f jazz classics. A song writing member of A.P.R.A, he has co-written a number five in the Australian Country Charts called “Somewhere back of beyond”.

Paul’s easy listening vocal style in the vein of Nat ‘King” Cole and Harry Connick, when performing in the jazz format, is equally comfortable with Rock & Roll, Soul, R&B and Country. he incorporates all of these styles in performance and together with his warm communicative presentation is a versatile and polished professional. Depending on requirements, he can perform in cabaret, solo with guitar and backings, as frontman with his group “Fish and the Chips” or as a straight compere.

Since 2001, Shane Peters has been gaining great momentum and rave reviews in the entertainment industry. This talented 32 year old singer/songwriter and entertainer is relentlessly performing in the Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong areas, in varied formats of entertainment including cabaret spots production shows, solos and duos. Shane displays a versatility in music that wows his audiences who’s ages range from 18-80.

On the performing front, Shane has performed in all the major Sydney clubs, entertained 18, 000 people at the Sydney Football Stadium, supported Queen Diva Marcia Hines and 60’s group The Foundations; most famous for their 1968 hit “Build Me Up Buttercup”. Shane has also performed in popular production shows such as,

Shout a Beautiful Noise, a tribute show to Johnny O’Keefe and Neil Diamond, Stars in Your Eyes and The Hit-Makers Show.

On the recording front, Shane has appeared on the Compilation C.D.,

The Fat Cat Sings Again (1999). With his alternative band Ignita, Shane has composed music for an extreme also recorded his debut single and remake of the John Lennon classic “Beautiful Boy” (2004) to favourable reviews and radio airplay.

Shane submitted an instrumental track, “Was” to the feature film

Enemies Closer (2006) which gained a theatrical release and starred Ryan Maloney (Neighbours) and supermodel Holley Brisley.

From 2007/2008 Shane maintained ongoing work within the entertainment industry in various production shows, cabaret spots as well as solos and duos ,more recently he joined the very popular Heroes from Heaven show and the exciting new ‘Wanted Dead or Alive Show’ portraying such performers as Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly and Gene Pitney just to name a few. In 2009 Shane scored the part of Jake in the award winning “The Australian Blues Brothers Show and as of 2011 Shane will be be performing in his new Production show “The Icon Show” Also Shane has recorded a CD ‘The Cover Songs Collection Vol. 1(2008), and is currently working on his debut EP ‘Sound Animation” which will be released in Aug 2011 as well as instrumental EP In Yellow Uplift”(2011)

He would sit at the back of the room writing lyrics and listening to music. One of his favourite singers to listen to was Sinatra, his first introduction to the man was at an early age by Steve’s father who passed away when he was 12. Steve used to listen to his father’s Sinatra albums on the long drives home. Steve recalls sitting in the back seat, in the dark, watching the lights on the stereo while hearing the sound of Sinatra.

“There was always a connection between my dad and Sinatra and this music, like it still connects me with him. Maybe it’s what got me so interested in that stlye of music to begin with”.

Since then Steve has come along way gigging all over Australia and working with some of the best this country has to offer, from rock n’ roll Hall of Famer Marty Rhone to jazz great James Morrison.

When he isn’t singing he’s writing. When he isn’t writing he’s listening and when he isn’t listening he’s watching and working hard to perfect his craft and make his mark

Nick Farr Jones and Mark Ella are not only two great ambassadors of their sport they are lovely men, and personally it was great to meet them in-person!

The event was a great success for our Members and team and we look forward to working with you again on our next event.
