Crescent Head Country Club Fund Raiser for Point Plomer Burns Patients

My name is Ellie Smith and I was one of the seven Point Plomer gas explosion victims. I was severely burnt and spent a month in the Children’s Hospital in Westmead, Sydney.

During my stay at Westmead my friends from Crescent Head told me about the fundraising activities that you had organised to support the victims of the blast. I would like to thank all those who volunteered and supported the fundraising activities. Fortunately for me, I was able to receive video messages from close friends on the night, via Len Pascoe and Hope, this made me realise how lucky I am to be a part of such a caring community. I am now on the road to recovery, back at school and happy to be home.
